Swayze

I have named him Swayze, in honour of Patrick Swayze - a friend of mine was close to him, and he told me about his death on the same day that I told him about having bought the new horse, so I named him Swayze for him and for Patrick Swayze's family, who my friend told about the new horse named after him.
Anyway, he finally got a coggins, so I went and picked him up today and brought him over and cleaned him up and even did a little 15 minute walk trot ride, of which we took some pics, but they're totally useless as the light was going so they're insanely blurry.
Swayze is SO chill! So ridiculously laidback and tolerant about everything - bathing, mane pulling, walking through puddles, trotting past scary jumps without looking. He even walked over a tarp. Honestly, I think I may have outdone myself this time on personality!
He does have a hunter's bump, and a vet was at the barn and wanted to see the new purchase tonight, and she said I should get him chiropracted for it, but other than that, he is great!
Yay! Now for the pics - be prepared - he's very sunbleached and underweight.
But you can see the black marks on him...those show new coat coming through in his actual color where he has bite marks that are growing new hair!
